ILR Application Docs Requirement for SET(LR)

Hello Dear

I will be completing 10 years on 30 March 2019. I would like to apply before 01 April 2019.

I have been advised by my friend who is a barrister to get the following documents as additional supportive docs before applying:

1) Personal data hold by UKVI

2) Criminal Record information from Police if there is any

Can anyone comment on this matter in the way that the above mentioned two documents are "MUST to have" or "Good to have" before applying for SET (LR)?

Not necessary to provide documents not required. They will simply be ignored as HO do their own checks anyway.
