Flr(m) extension new system-postal

Hi everybody,

My visa runs out on 13.04.2019. (FLR(M)) I will apply next month with an online form. I won't be using any super priority options as I don't have much money right now :/

Can I apply by post like the old system? If I can, can anybody give me advise how? What do I need to do? I am so confused. All I need to do is fill the online form and then what? Do I have to choose an appointment center or do I have to send my original documents to Sheffield after I submit my online application?

My second question is do I have to submit the online form within 28 days before expiry date or is it the appointment day as counted? It's so confusing. I am sure someone would know the answers.
