Spouse Visa Documents from Pakistan

Hi All,

This forum has always been a great help to me. a friend of mine wants to apply for a spouse visa from Pakistan and we are just confused about documents sending to Sheffield.
VFS global website for Pakistan says that all documents will be scanned at their centre whilst i have seen on this forum people send documents to Sheffield.

Could any senior member share some comments on this please.
