Vsitor Visa for Aunt: Is wriiten Sponsor Letter / Sponsorship Declaration required?

• Visitor Visa - Aunty from Pakistan to UK for 6 months

Hello,

I've almost completed an online application form - Just at the payment section now. After that they will list the documents that are required to be taken to the interview.

I'm a bit confused. I wanted to ask that even through applications are filled in online nowadays, do I still need to post a Sponsorship Letter and a Sponsorship Declaration to my aunt beforehand to take with her to the interview?

If written correspondence is required then I assume, I will need to post all the documents to my aunt first and thereafter book an appointment.

Please can someone guide?
