Spouse Visa Extension (residency Requirements)

Hi

My wife got her Spouse dependent visa (via settled person route) in July 2018. Her extension is due in January 2021.I am now a British citizen.

My organization is sending me outside UK for a work assignment which is set to commence in September 2019 and it is expected we will be continue till June 2021.

I am also aware that the 180 days continuous residency requirements do not apply for ILR dependents.

As i rent my accommodation, i will not be keeping my property in UK. Please advise on the following:

- Can i apply for extension from outside UK? What are my options?
- Can i demonstrate co-habitation through my time spent outside UK?

Basically i am at a loss as to how this will work out.

No. She would have to apply for a new entry clearance visa and start again from scratch meeting all the same English and financial requirements again.
