UKVCAS Appointment

Hi,

I tried to book an appointment with UKVCAS. They charge between 50-125 pounds for available dates. I noticed that also, we need to pay extra for checking the documents and extra for scanning too. What is 50-125 pounds for if they are not even checking the documents?

Also, their website says, if I pay extra money for document check, I must upload my documents 2 days before!! Do I have to do that? Is it compulsory?

I talked to my previous lawyer and he said that I do not need to upload any documents as it is their job because we are paying them. He said they are making people do their job!!

My question is, If I go there with my documents without uploading them, they will do it for me? (Checking & Uploading) Do I have to pay 35 online during booking or I can pay it when I go there?
