UK visa invite for family member (pregnancy reason)

Can someone living alone but working in the UK invite a family member to the UK to provide assistance during pregnancy before childbirth, if the family member already has an infant she's taking care off in which case the family member will have to go with the infant. If so, what sponsorship requirements are needed for the family member and the infant.
