Dear friends,
I need your guidance on the following topic.
I am currently in the UK on Tier-2 (General) Dependant/spouse visa and will be eligibile to apply for ILR in Dec-2020. I am currently exploring new work in the UK and a possible opportunity may realise soon. However, the location of the work place (which is in the UK) require me to stay away from my home (wife & family/children) for 5-workdays/week. I will return home from my work place (in UK) during weekends, bank holidays and annual vacations. The family will also visit my workplace residence during their off-time.
Additional Information about my family home (me+wife+children):
-The property is on joint mortgage (on my name and my wife, who is the main Tier-2 migrant).
-Council bill is on joint name.
-Utility bills (Vodafone, Gas & Electric and Water) are on joint names.
-Joint bank accounts statements come to the family home address.
-My correspondence address with HMRC will continue to be my family home address.
-Postal mail on my name will continue to come to the family home address.
-There is another property that we own, which is also on joint name.
-Children expenses are paid from joint bank accounts, which is on my and my wife name.
-I am living together on the family address for last 2-1/2 years. Have got the FLR (Tier-2 General Dependant with the same family address after entering UK some 3-1/2 yrs ago.
My question is; will I be in compliance to ILR requirements as Tier-2 (General) Dependant/Partner if I stay away from my partner in another location in UK for 5-days/week for work purpose?
