Tier 2 Employer Sponsored to Unmarried Partner Visa

Hi all,

I'm currently in the UK on a Tier 2 Employer sponsored visa, which expires April 2020. My partner and I have been living together for 2 years in May 2019 and I was looking to change my visa across to an unmarried partner visa. Is this possible while I still have one year remaining on my current Tier 2 visa?

Am I able to apply to change across to the spousal in the UK and use the super priority service? Will this mean, if successful, I can get my visa the same day?

What evidence of lining in a relationship akin to marriage do you have??

She's a British Citizen. We've got a tenancy agreement from May 2017, a joint account with rent payments coming out of it, we also purchased a house together about a year ago, so have utility bills to the same address, both names on the title deed etc.

Should be fine then if you have 2 years worth of rock solid evidence, meet the A1 English and financial requirements.

That's great! I'm from NZ, so should meet the A1 requirement by default and she's above financial threshold.

So there isn't any restriction on my current visa needing to be close to expiring prior to me applying to change to the spousal?

You can apply at anytime if you meet the requirements
