ILR application - Previous employer failed to pay taxes

Post by Kavitha86 » Sat Apr 20, 2019 9:58 pm

Hi,

Can someone please help me with the situation. I am in tier-2 visa with an employer(worked for 1 yr) who failed to pay my last few months taxes and salaries. Now i got another job and new employer is happy to do 5 yrs tier-2 visa. So now the question is after 5 yrs with the new employer when i apply for ILR will there be any chance that my ILR application getting rejected due to the tax issues created by my ex-employer?

Will the home office check only the last 5 yrs record or they check all taxes from my entry to UK ?
What are the necessary course of action i should to do to avoid such situation?

I worked for a reputed company earlier and except my previous yr all other records are clear with HMRC.
