Director of a Company

Dear Members,
could you please give me an advice regarding the income requirements for FLR(M), my mrs is started working now she is getting salary of 1000 a month the nature of a business she is working on cash but she got her payslips , about my income, i am working for my own company and i am also a director of the company, can i use my income from my company employment to combine both incomes?
my consultant also told me you have resign from the directorship, if i going to resign from the directorship today still i can show the income from the last six months? or it has to be from the day i resign from the directorship?
