How long does it take to get our passport from HO?

How long does it take to get our passport from HO?

Hello All,
Applied for leave to remain on the basis of the British child, granted visa and got the brp card. But still haven't received the passport ( it was held in HO for 2 years). My lawyer said they made online request to send the passport. It's been more than 2 weeks now. Haven't received yet.

Pls advise when we will get the passport, is there any contact number or email id to contact HO about the status.
