HOW TO ANSWER FINANCE QUESTION

Hello Guys

I was hoping one of you lovely people copuld answer the following question for me?

In the visa application it asks the question "How much are you planning to spend on your visit to the UK?"
Does this mean how much personally to the applicant or will this include the total amount of the trip including the money i will be paying towards the trip?
