Tier 2 general extension- CoS generation process

Hi All,

My current tier 2 general visa is about to expire on 14th August 2019. My employer confirmed me about extension.

I wanted to check Cos process for Tier 2 General visa extension.

1. Does process of COS for extension same as for a new CoS for employer, As for new one its only once in a month?
2. are they required to do market RLMT test again for extension?

Also I wanted to know

1. Do I need to have maintenance fund in place or employer can take responsibility?
2. Do I need a fresh NARIC certificate as last one was valid for 2 years only (Policy say for renewal we don't need to provide the same if provided on original application)?


just wanted to know the current approval rate for Tier 2 gen extension .

No it is not the same. If your sponsor has CoS available, they can assigned it immediately.

No, not if your SOC and job role remain the same.

Not sure.
