Changes to visit visa application form

Hello,

Visit visa application process seems to have changed since April,
1) the appointment slots were visible prior to making payment but not the case anymore. Am I correct and Does anyone know approximately what dates are available in Islamabad (if someone booked recently)
2) uploading documents is applicable for visas applied in Islamabad?
Just asking as parents have specific needs so need to plan things accordingly
