Tier 2 (General) to ILR with over 18 dependent

Post by onetwono » Wed Jun 12, 2019 10:50 pm

I will apply for my ILR after 5 years on Tier 2 (General). My son has been my dependent. He received his Tier 2 (dependent) the same day I received my Tier 2 (general) and his visa has the same valid period as mine. He is over 18 now. Can I include him in the same form? He has passed his Life in the UK Test and satisfied the English language requirement.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Separate Set O form for your over 18 child.

You will also need to submit additional evidence to prove he is not leading an independent life, as stated in the guidance notes.
