Confirmation meaning

Post by anonymous1999 » Fri Jun 21, 2019 6:13 pm

Hi, I’ve just rang UKVI to ensure that they have received our supporting documents and the biometrics have been enrolled successfully (unlike someone else’s on this forum) and they said the status of our application is ‘awaiting a decision’. Does this mean that they have received the scanned documents and the biometrics have been enrolled?

I am being extra cautious after reading the visa horror stories on here

If they haven't received your supporting documents then they must have contacted you to send them.

The biometrics appointment was only this monday. I think I’ll wait another week and then assume that they have them.

Eco email

Post by anonymous1999 » Thu Jun 27, 2019 1:19 pm

Hey, around how many weeks can I expect an email from the eco to be sent, in regards to processing the application, with priority service. I have been reading the dates on other peoples priority timelines and it usually comes within 20 days

Hi mate, I feel your pain. I'm on the same boat as you. I've wasted over £25 calling or emailing them only to ask them if they received my docs or not as I haven't got them back yet. But they are unable to help. I would suggest wait, as if they haven't received your docs they would email.

I see you have scanned the documents to them? If you have a slip after scanning the docs I'm sure they have got it and I wouldn't worry to much. Me in the other hand, had to post it to them at PO BOX address.

hi

I posted my docs on 8th, they received it and signed for it. My mrs had her biometric on the 15th may, she received the ECO email on the 17th may and then on the 22th May again. It says " your app is currently being prepared for consideration by an Entry Clearance Officer"

I'm guessing you haven't received that email yet?

Hey, my husband’s biometrics appointment was on the 17th of June and he had all the documents scanned at his appointment. He received a text a few hours later saying his application has been forwarded to UKVI. I’m just waiting for the eco email that you’re talking about now (being prepared for consideration one). By looking at others timeline (priority), it seems the eco email arrives within 20 days from the biometrics appointment. Of course this is no hard rule but thats what I’ve seen from others timelines.

Hi, I suppose I got mine few days after my mrs biometric because I sent it on the 8th. Yes since your application was priority I would wait for 20 days then I would contact them. but I'm sure you will get a decision within a month. Mine in the other hand wasn't priority :(

Priority cases usually give a reply in 6 weeks from biometrics. Ah, so you should be expecting a decision in august then

Hello all,

Please forgive me if I am on the wrong thread, I’ve only just signed up today. Has anyone received a message from the visa centre(TLS) saying that ‘your passport and documentation are ready for collection’ only to find that this is not the case? I contacted my MP to confirm this but she replied saying that the processing has not yet been completed by UKVI. I’ve applied for a fiancé settlement visa. If someone could shed some light on this I would be very appreciative.

My fiancé lives in Iran and has to travel to Turkey to collect the decision. I haven’t got a number for TLS Contact. I’m so confused!
