FLR Spouse visa extension Payslips 6 or 12 months

Post by fila777 » Mon Jul 15, 2019 6:13 pm

Hello dear forum friends. Hope you are ok today. Me and my wife are doing extention FLR for her spouse visa. We have two children who are British, So we need to EARN 18,600 to meet financial requirement. We did application online super priority service. My wife is working For NHS and in her contract she earns 17650 but with night shifts and weekends she earns more, In last 6 months she earned 10650 pounds and she is being working at the same job 8 months. I also work on casual basis but get around 7000 pounds in six months and worked at the same job for 2 years. We decided to apply as joint income just to make sure we meet financial requirement in case they take her earning in contract which is 17650. After we done application and booked appointment in document checklist says to provide 12 months payslips. we planned to give 6 since we both been in same job for more than 6 months and combined we earn more than minimum requirement. Now i am sick worried, did we applied under category B? There was no option to chose when we did application online. Could anyone with more experience help me with advice. I have 12 payslips but my wife doesnt since she worked for the past 8 months. What to do. Sorry for long post but could somebody shed a light on this issue
Thanks in advance

In my opinion if her earning was £10650 during the last 6 months then simply use her earnings alone under category A because her base salary and night shift allowance/overtime both will be counted towards financial requirement of £18600. Usually online form gives 4 options and 1st refers to category A but remaining 3 leads to category B. Just select first option then in addition info section give the calculations.

Thank you for your reply. I already submited application and included both of us earners just to make sure. o when you are asked have you been earning same amount continuously for last period i answered no because it does vary and obviously didnt want to lie. is asking for 12 months payslips. I already submited application which said to submit 12 payslips for both of us. How are you suppose to know you are applying under A because that is what am applying for but its not same amount every month. I do worry now. Should i do covering letter explaining this and submit 6 payslips. I am confused. Please help what do you think is best option. She doesnt have 12 payslips cause she is been working for past 8 months although she has letter from employer confirming salary for past 76 months so do i. Did i made big mistake. Surely there is a way out of this.

Alternatively if at least either of you have 12 months of payslips and intending to combine your incomes then yes you can apply under category B without even the other partner hasn't yet got 12 months of payslips. In your case if you have submitted your 12 months of payslips along with 12 months of corresponding bank statements & employer letter, her 8 months of payslips with bank statements along with employer letter then more likely you will succeed in meeting financial requirement.
