Set (M) ILR - applied too early?

Post by roycey » Tue Aug 06, 2019 10:23 pm

Dear members,

I have applied for the Set (M) ILR thinking that the 28 days rule applied to the date of appointment and not date of online application.

Service Type: New Premium service
Date of online application: 25 Jul 2019
Day when my Qualifying period starts (i.e. 28 days before I complete total 5 years): 26 Aug 2019.
Date of appointment: 30 Aug 2019

Now I am not sure whether I should withdraw hoping that I will get my £3200 back or go ahead and continue with the planned appointment with a cover letter explaining reasons for applying early.

I have read this link where 3 people were in the same situation and got ILR approval by just going ahead: indefinite-leave-to-remain/submitted-on ... 67755.html
Has anyone else been in the same situation lately? What would you suggest I do?

Thank you!

You should be eligible on the actual decision day of your case. You will be fine
