Tier 2 General extension

Hi there
I have two questions - appreciate help:

1. I am applying for T2 extension 4 weeks before the date of current T2 expiry - if I receive the extension beyond the current extension date as the processing time is around 8 weeks - will that impact my future ILR application in any way? or what date the new BRP starts from - would it be the date of application?

2. Is there any formal list of the documents that should be attached to the T2 extension for main applicant and dependents as well - from recent successful application. thanks

No issue re ILR. Date of BRP will be around the date of approval by HO.
