Overstaying due to Industrial Action for 6 days

Post by letmec2006 » Thu Jul 17, 2008 4:13 pm

Hi
I had an appointment in the Immigration Office, and this was postponed due to Industrial Action for 6 days. Should this be mentioned in the application form, while applying for FLR
Thanks in advance

The new appointment date, is that after the expiry date of the old visa?

Certainly mention it, and provide as much proof as you can that the original appointment date was in place. At least quote the time as well as the date, of the original appointment.

Suggest you also keep the documentation not just for now, but also for when you apply for Naturalisation, if indeed you intend to make that application in due course.
