Tier 4 to Tier 2 - am I on a "permanent job"?

Post by ZhengWei3 » Thu Sep 12, 2019 9:45 am

Hello,

I am currently on a tier 2 and have been accepted into a full-time job starting in a couple of days. Due to a miscommunication I've withdrawn my tier 2 visa application and can't submit it a new one before next week. I'm currently off-term on a valid Tier 4 and the only obstacle that I'm facing in joining my job is the "Tier 4 holders cannot take a permanent full-time job".

The contract that I signed doesn't have an end date by my certificate of sponsorship clearly shows the work end date which is 3 years after the start date. My question is, can I still start my work or am I breaching tier 4 conditions?

Thanks!
