Query: ILR application - Employer absent letter

Hi experts,

Hope you are doing well.

I am going to apply for ILR next September. I need to take an absent letter from my previous employer with whom I last worked in June 2017.

I am going to request one now as the business has recently stopped trading. If I get the letter now, it will be 11 months older by the time I apply for ILR.

I am wondering is it okay to apply for ILR with this letter, could someone help me, please? Thanks
