Hi all,
I have just recently joined, but have been viewing this forum for a while now and not found an answer to the question below. The answers would help so many people like myself in this situation
I hope I am posting in the right section.
The question I have is how can you request your documents back specifically (passport) or other documents from the Home Office as soon as possible. The answers would help so many people like my self in this situation.
Some background, I am a British citizen, we have a child, my wife’s visa FLR FP partner route has been accepted, 10-year route first extension, prior to this my wife was on a spouse visa, but to due to change in circumstances we had to change. Not that I mind it but if and when circumstances change again, I will apply for the 5-year route again.
Now back to the question, we have received the decision letter and the BRP card but not the passports. Is there a way to request the documents back i.e email address, postal address and or another web site form? If so please could you share these.
I have tried the - https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outrea ... ments.ofml
Request for Return of Documents
This form should be used if:
You have an outstanding application with the Home Office and now wish to withdraw this and leave the UK.
As displayed on this site, we do not have any outstanding application and am I correct to assume cannot use this form to lodge documents.
If someone knows a better way please do share you information and experiences.
Thanks
