Help securing a Tier 2 Visa

Hi Everyone,

I am very happy to have found this forum!

I entered the UK on the 28th of August 2019 , on a Tier 5 visa from New Zealand. At the time, I planned to just be here for that length of time and return home. However, I love my new life in England and plan on securing residency in the UK, in the future.

I therefore would like to secure a job and apply for a Tier 2 Visa, enabling me to do this. My current company had previously said they may be able to sponsor me , however now can not.

I am based in London and graduated in New Zealand with a degree in Politics and International Relations. I am really looking for some advice about what companies or job roles I could approach as I currently feel so lost with the whole process.

You would need to find a sponsor on the official HO sponsor list and apply for jobs etc.

Do you by any chance have a UK born grandparent?
