Baby born recently query regarding dependent visa

I am on HSMP which was approved on 5th Dec 2006 but it was granted based on old rules so I come under JR. My visa expires 3rd Jan 2009. Last week my baby daughter was born and I am aware that I need to get a Pakistani passport for her first and then stamped a dependent visa.

I just want to ask is it possible if I can wait for 2-3 months till when I need to apply for my own and my wife extension under JR (around mid Oct time) and send my baby's visa together with that for the first time so that I save visa stamping fees for now. Has anyone experience such a situation? Will home office make any issue out of it stating that my baby doesnt have the dependent visa for 3-4 months. Please let me know.

As long as the baby is not going out of the country, you do not need to worry about getting the baby a visa right now.

You can wait till you are ready to apply and then apply for your whole family at once (thereby saving much needed money).

If however, your baby is travelling before you are applying for your own extension, then you must somehow get a dependant visa for your baby either here or back in Pakistan before the baby will be able to come back into the UK.
