Short term student visa getting married in UK

Good day to all commenters and readers,

I am currently here in UK with my 11 months short term student visa that will expire next year of July 2020. Me and my boyfriend who is a british citizen is planning to get married before that date. My question is 1.) Can we get married with my short term student visa? 2.) Can i switched to spouse visa after our mirriage in UK without going back home to my country?... . hope to get idea in this forum... many thanks..

11 months student visa doesn't look a short term visa. If it is a renewable tier 4 visa then maybe it is possible to marry from inside the UK.
