No sticker required on passport for PBS dependent

Post by Chiragksingh » Tue Dec 24, 2019 6:04 pm

Merry Christmas !

I am on tier 2 general visa and my wife who has been living in UK for ICT for last 2 years applied for dependent visa. We took super priority service due some family emergency visit that she has to make really soon. We went to east Croydon today. All documents were submitted online.

My wife was not asked for her passport for sticker stamping. While consulted the visa office member (two separate ones) , we were told that they do not take/collect passport for stamping anymore. Only BRP will be sent. Is this information true? Don't we need stamping in passport for PBS dependent anymore?

Please help at the soonest ONLY if possible. Really appreciated

There is no passport visa sticker for applications made within the UK and hasn't been for a number of years already. She will only get a brp card, which takes 7 to 10 days after visa approval.
