Dependant Tier 2 extension

Hi there, I have got the ILR in August and my wife came in UK on tier 2 general dependant visa in September 2015. Her visa is due for renewal in April 2020. Since I am on ILR now and my wife has Tier 2 dependant visa, can you please help me which visa I can apply for her, tier 2 dependant extension or ILR extension.
And also my son passport is getting expired on 21/06/2020 and I am going to apply in March 2020, is there any requirement for the validity of the passport that it needs to be 6 month valid?

Tier 2 dependent extension. It will be an extension for 3 years.

There is no requirement to have 6 months validity on passport and I have no idea where members get this idea from. It must be valid at the time of application and biometrics.
