PBS Dependant Visa

Post by KresnaWirawan » Mon Jan 06, 2020 11:42 am

Hi,

I am holding Tier 2 General visa at the moment and I am applying Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) this June (I am holding Tier 2 General Visa since June 2015).
My wife is holidng PBS Dependant visa at the moment and it is not expired until June 2021.
She can't apply ILR in the same time as me as she hasn't meet the 5 years requirement just yet (she came to UK in August 2017).
My question is - does she need to apply another type of visa once I obtain my ILR or can she keep her current visa until June 2021 and apply extention after that?
Please advise.
Thank you.

Yes, she applies for a tier 2 dependent extension which will be a 3 year extension. Visa fee plus £1200 IHS will be payable (current fees might increase by 2021).
