Error on BRP and Need to Travel

Hello everyone - I've been reading these forums for a long time now, but have never participated.

So, my issue is that I have finally received my ILR however it states the wrong nationality - I'm Australian and my BRP states Canadian. Very frustrating!! I have reported the error/issue but the website/email states that there is a waiting time of 20 days for the issue to be resolved.

However, I need to travel in 10 days time from the UK to Austria for a total of four days.

Will I still be able to use my BRP even though it contains an error?

Any advice would be appreciated - thank you!!

Australian citizens can use E-gates without their BRPs. I suggest to replace your BRP after your travel. BRP replacement could take 6 months
