Hello,
I was born to a UK born father In Australia to an Australian mother, they were unmarried at my birth. My father is listed on my full birth certificate however the only copy I have was issued 10 years after my birth. I do not think it is in fact possible to get a back-dated Australian birth certificate. There isn't any field that is called "issue date" merely "date" which is clearly the date the birth certificate was printed from the Births Deaths and marriage office.
I am worried about not meeting this requirement:
"If your natural father was named as your father on a birth certificate issued within 12
months of your birth"
Does anyone have experience with this? My father is British born and so are his parents, im frustrated there are so many hoops to jump through simply because my mother and father weren't married -how archaic!
Thanks for any input!
