New hair colour; New photos for visa?

Post by confusedcitizen » Thu Jan 16, 2020 4:00 pm

My wife has a new hair colour, different to her passport.

When we apply for the spouse visa for her to come to UK we have to upload our docs online and send her passport to the UKVI processing hub in NYC (as the biometrics centre she'll go to is only a application support centre)

Do we still have to send passport sized photographs of her or is that no longer a requirement?

If we do have to send them should we get them retaken with her new hair colour?

Many thanks!

No need. As the new picture will be taken by vfs/ukvcas staff at extension time during biometrics enrollment

I see, that makes sense. Thanks!

When we send her passport off via UPS i assume we'll have to put our visa reference number with it.

What about the biometrics reciept?
