Help - Applied too early

Hi i wonder is someone can give us advice i am a Uk resident and my friend is from Colombia we applied for a Uk visa with me sponsoring her on January the 10th to come on May 1st and we just received an email stating
( You have applied 1 month too early we can only process applications 3 months prior to the date off travel you are advised to withdraw and reapply in February or do you wish to proceed ) i just want advice on what you think we should do and if we withdraw the application would we get a refund from what we paid for it and would she need to attend another interview it's hard because she needs to travel 13 hours by bus to Bogota to go for another interview mon - fri and she studies all days thanks any help will be great.
