Can my non-EU wife travel in Europe?

Can my non-EU wife travel in Europe?

In short, I'm a Brit and my wife's Japanese. We plan to go travelling within the EU. As she's Japanese I don't suppose there is any issue with that, but what about living and working within the EU. She has a marriage visa for the UK currently. 2 years validity. I know that I can work in the EU with no restrictions, but can my wife? Bearing in mind that she has been granted permission to live & work in the UK for a set period.
