WRONG DATE OF BIRTH ON ILR

Post by Lineta » Tue Mar 10, 2020 12:26 pm

I would like to apply for British naturalisation but the date on my ILR sticker is incorrect. This happend as a result of wrong date of birth of my passport which was issued in my country. I have had the passport for over 10 years and have even renewed it in my country. The issue started with an ID card issued in my own country with the wrong date of birth. The correct date of birth is 9/02/1980 and in the passport it is 17/02/1980. Please asdive.

Maybe add a copy of your birth certificate which presumably has the correct DOB, and add an explanation of the situation.
This is just my opinion as a member of this forum and does not constitute immigration advice.
Please do not send me private messages asking for advice.

Hi, I've had the same issue myself, but the best option is to apply with the details you have and provide evidence of your correct date of birth.
