ICT Tier 2 Visa and Cooling Off Period

Hi Team,

I was in UK from May 2017 to Feb 2019. My Tier 2 ICT Visa is valid till May 2022.

I returned from UK on 7th Feb 2019 to my home country. I am now getting an opportunity to go to UK again.

Since I have completed 1 year in my home country (out of UK), I have below questions:

1) If I travel now to UK again, Can I eligible for total 5 years visa again?

2) Can I extend my visa beyond May 2022 till March 2025?

Please clarify.

What visa are you returning on?? Your current ICT, which has presumably not been curtailed or a tier 2 general??

Note the extension possibility realtors to the visa category you hold, not been out and coming back on the same visa category. Your "clock" doesn't reset if you return on your existing visa.

Note also that the cooling off period applies to changing from ICT to tier 2 general and not continuing on the same ICT visa.
