NHS free visa extension

Hi everyone,
Am on tier 2 visa but my wife who is on tier2 dependant visa work for nhs as a mental health care Assistant . Can she benefit from nhs free visa extension because we are due to extend our visa before 1st of October. Thanks

The way I understood the announcement, it applies to NHS sponsored workers and then also their dependents when the main tier 2 visa holder is the doctor, nurse or paramedic.
