Returning Resident Indefinitie Leave to Remain

Post by Stich » Thu Apr 16, 2020 11:21 pm

Hello, so I’ve been lived in America for 7 years now although visited England 3 times a year and have spent most of my life in England, I am 29. I only have an American passport. My mum is an American who has a visa and still resides there with my British step dad and my sisters and they run the family business. I now want to go back to live in the UK and study and get my degree in football business. I will be applying for the return resident visa very soon, I’m researching the process and believe I do have strong ties back in the UK. Ie family and family business that I need to learn the ropes for as none of my sisters want to. My parents still pay me a wage every week, they said this is legal and I have a national insurance number which my mum said is important. If I don’t have success getting my visa back does this then fault me for going to apply for other visas? Also what do you think of my situation decent chance? Fingers crossed

If you’ve been away for more than 2 years
You must provide enough evidence to show:

your strong ties to the UK
your current circumstances and why you’ve lived outside the UK
