Tier1(General)--Query on Maintenance funds

Hi,

I came to UK on July 4th on my company's work permit and now planning to apply for a workpermit under Tier-1 (General) program. Please can you clarify the following 2 queries.
1. As I did not complete 3 months in UK, would it be fine if I can produce my INDIAN bank statement as a proof for Maintenance funds.
2. Also, please can you clarify if I need to show £800 or £2800 as a bank statement for a 3 months period.
