SET(LR) and expired passports

Post by YM1900 » Sat Jul 11, 2020 12:11 pm

Hi,

I hope it's a simple question and chances are was raised a number of times on this forum. Thank you in advance for you help.

I have 33 travels outside of UK for the last 10 years I have to report. It was a bit painful exercise going though all the tickets / bookings to reconstruct this list. I have a few questions related to this part of the application:
1) What's the recommended order of listing absences - from earliest or from the latest?
2) Application form can take only 30 records - how should I communicate the rest on the application form?
3) My passport was renewed in 2018 and government body responsible for that eventually need you to return the expired passport (means you can keep them for a while but on your next trip back need to hand them over). It means that I have only my very latest passport now with me. Should I expect any problems with that?

1. Add a letter detailing the last 3.

2. Most recent to oldest.

3. Did you not keep copies of all your passports (all pages) for the last 10 years??? If you don't have all your passports for the 10 years, you will be required to add substantial more evidence to prove residence from the date you arrived until your new passport was issued.

Is it possible to provide a copy of all passport pages instead?

Could you please advise on what evidences I need to provide if expired passport(s) are not available?

Thank you!

If you can find a copy of the old passport that will be great. Now, all evidence is submitted digitally i.e. scanned via UKVCAS and you do not need originals except your current passport which MUST be original.

If you do not have a copy, you will need to submit documents like P60s, employment letters, government department letters etc for the missing period.

I might be able to provide if after all (it's just not in UK but I'm looking for a way to send it back to me).
It seems like I also have quite a lot of other records as council taxes and P60 for the last 10 years and since I was working for the same employer letter should not be a problem.

Thank you for your help!
