Varied Application when do I expect a refund?

Post by lily2013 » Fri Jul 24, 2020 3:46 pm

Hi All,

An email came through today advising that my application for ILR has been approved. Timeline already posted in the SET (LR) section for those interested to check it out. My thanks goes to the moderators and everyone who replied my posts during my application process.

I varied my application for a Tier 2 dependant visa just to get me to 10 years for ILR. The tier 2 application was approved and biometrics received even before I had the opportunity to give my biometrics for the new application - SET LR.

Should I expect to get a refund? I did submit the application before a decision was made but ofcourse with the new visa application systems there was a delay in giving biometrics as this depends on availability of appointments slots.

I will be grateful if any one can advise if to expect a refund - money will come in handy to help with my dependants application.

Thanks in advance

As your visa was approved, there is no refund given for the Tier 2 application. You may continue with the ILR application
