Tier 2 ICT - COS ended whilst outside UK

Hi,

I have a tier2 ICT long term staff Visa.

My CoS has end date June 2020. But the BRP issued has end date June 2022.

I was in the UK from July 2019 to Dec 2019. Returned to India in Dec 2019 and was due to travel back March 2020 as my contract got extended.

During dependant visa application process in Feb 2020, my organization informed about the mismatch in the end dates between CoS and BRP and was advised to stop the dependant process until i fixed the mismatch which i planned to do upon my return in March 2020.

In the mean time, due to covid, a travel ban was advised at my org and client org, and I could not return to UK as intended in March 2020.

I have two issues I need clarification regarding:
1) So my CoS has now ended(June 2020). Will I still be allowed to enter UK as BRP is valid till 2022?

2) I have stayed outside UK for more than 180 days. Is there any waiver or I need to serve the cooling off period?

3)If I need to serve cooling off period, I would be eligible to travel back in Dec 2020 as last I returned was Dec 2019?

Your entrance in U.K. depends on the validity of brp not cos given you’re still working on the same visa.

when I came back in Dec I moved back to India payroll and still continuing to be in it. In March 2020 I was supposed to go back to UK using the same CoS and BRP as the client and job is the same as that for which i went Jun to Dec 2019.

I am not sure I can be considered as still working on the same Visa?

is this CoS end date and BRP end date mismatch not an issue? If suppose we are given a waiver to return to UK irrespective of the 180 days and CoS expiry, can I enter?
