Indefinite Leave to Remain - Query on "Valid Until" date

Hi Team

Today have received the BRP card and the remarks says "INDEFINITE LEAVE TO REMAIN". Type of Permit = "SETTLEMENT"

However, the "valid until" has been stated as "31-12-2024". Date of issue: "05-08-2020"

Can you pls tell, whether the "valid until" date is correct? I thought it would be for 10 years

The date is correct. It is the date that has been set by the EU for all biometric (|BRPs and passports) to be updated with enhanced security features.

If you don't apply for citizenship, you simply renew the CARD, similar to a drivers licence.
