Tier 2 leave granted shorter than expected

Hello everyone,
I applied for my tier 2 visa as I was changing jobs
my old BRp was valid until August 2022 and I applied for new sponsor tier 2 visa in June 2020 and just today I got my approval email ,which I am happy I finally got it but in the email it says my new leave to remain is valid only for August 2021 ,which I cannot understand my cos was until June2023 .Is it possible it is only a typing error or do I have to go through visa process again next year.and what about my Health surcharge that I paid. I thought my visa is straight forward I work in nhs and I have all the needed requirement for tier 2 visa.

Any idea what might went wrong, please??

How many years have you been on a tier 2 visa?

I suggest wait for your BRP card to see what is on the card.

Exactly one year.
