Name change on FLR(M) visa?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, please move/delete if so.

My wife recently got her FLR(M) visa through, we applied straight after we got married.

She now wants to use her married name (my surname).

How do we go about doing this, and are we even allowed to on her visa? I’m guessing she needs to apply for a new passport in her new name (she has Canadian passport) and then apply for a new BRP?

I assume once she has updated passport/BRP we can then change name with bank, doctors etc.

What documentation would we need to save for the next FLR(M) application in 2.5 years?

Any help/advice would be so helpful, thank you.

Why wouldn't she be allowed to change her name??

For the next extension, you need two years evidence of cohabitation in both names, from 3 to 6 different sources, spread evenly for every 4 to 4 months.
