On holiday a month before visa ends and I apply for ILR

Post by Riori » Tue Oct 27, 2020 3:24 pm

Hi,
I just wanted to ask how much of a problem is it to go on holiday (out of the UK) and be back a month before my spousal visa ends and I then start the process for ILR. Thanks for any help

It has no relevance to ILR application

Hi, thanks for responding. I more meant does anyone have any experience with border control being weird about you coming back in with only one month left on your current visa but maybe this is the wrong channel to ask. sorry

Again like many questions here this query is also based on what migrants 'feel' or 'believe' could happen. As long as you have a valid visa, you should normally be admitted at the border without any issues.

Hi again,

Different question but actually ILR Set M.
I keep seeing some people say they did 6 months payslips and others did 12 months. My spousal applications have always been 6 months of my spouses payslips so do I now need 12?
Thanks

Perhaps you had made all of your previous applications under old regime where postal applications used to be made. In spite of that, still nothing has been changed except its transfiguration into online version covering the wider range of scenarios whilst the official guidance remaining unchanged. Therefore, simply fill the application and sagaciously select that option which mirror to your circumstances. Bizarrely, on various occasions, even by doing so with regardless amount of care you would be prompted to supply 12 months of payslips. In its rectification, you can simply attach 6 months worth of payslips with a covering letter spotlighting this error on the form or just supply 12 months of payslips if you wishes so, provided have had earned sufficiently.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.

That depends on which category you apply under. If you were with the same employer, under category A you only need 6 months
