You have the same questions yet given answers of same clarification you require - wrong to someone else???firestar786 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 3:22 pmHi
i could be wrong on the numbers but
i think per year its no more than 90 days outside of the country
and in 5 years its something like 455 days outside of the country.
i have this same question because, my wife would like to go home for a few months at a time but we dont want to jeopardise her visa.

My wife is here on spouse visa and we are a little confused on whether she can travel outside the UK or not?
She has an iraqi passport and of course the spouse visa ID card.
What are the restrictions, if any, on travelling? There is no restriction
Can she go back to Iraq for a visit? Yes
How long is she allowed to be abroad for per trip? No absence limits
Can she make as many trips as she likes? Yes, no limit
Should we expect any issues or questions in the airport when she returns to the UK? None that will be negative or cause problem to reentry
Any official statements on this from the home office would be helpful (I tried searching but only found info that was even more confusing).
Advice and guidance will be greatly appreciated

One more question... as my wife had a stamp on her Iraqi passport giving her 30 days to enter the UK when she first entered. Will she need a new stamp, proof or paperwork to prove she is allowed to enter the UK after coming back from her trip abroad? Or will showing her spouse visa ID card be enough for passport control?
