Will the new immigrations rules wef Jan 2021 benefit existing tier 2 visa holders who are looking for an extension of current visa or new sponsors to apply for new jobs?

Some points I recollect are:
1. No more 6 year time limit of Skilled worker visa unlike Tier 2 General
2. Salary threshold for ILR has been reduced
3. No RLMT if you switch sponsors.
Any suggestions I make in the forum are out my personal experience and should not be taken as a legal/professional advise.

Overview
A Skilled Worker visa allows you to come to or stay in the UK to do an eligible job with an approved employer.

This visa has replaced the Tier 2 (General) work visa.
