What type of divorce acceptable in Pakistan?

What type of divorce acceptable in Pakistan?

Dear All

A friend of mine is a divorcee in Pakistan and re-marrying a UK National. Could someone please clarify which divorce certificate will be acceptable to the British High Commission in Islamabad?

Does it have to be issued from the law courts or from the local district councillor? And where should it be registered?

If she was divorced in Pakistan, and registered the divorce at the the local Union Council where she lives,they should give here the divorce certificate.
